Aldermen represent the interests of constituents in their Ward, bringing local concerns to the attention of City government. We participate in budget discussions and decisions, influencing how City funds are allocated to various services and projects. We engage with residents to understand their needs and gather feedback on issues affecting the community. We enhance public safety, addressing crime and working with law enforcement to improve community safety. We advocate for infrastructure improvements, such as road repairs, public transportation, and public spaces.

Your representative should be in touch with what truly matters to our community. I’ll focus on the real issues that impact our daily lives, ensuring that the voices of the 7th Ward are heard and acted upon. Together, we can build a brighter future for our neighborhood.

Real issues. Real Solutions.

  • Financial Oversight

Our Alderman must be a financial arbitrator to ensure that the City meets its basic civil services like taking care of our city employees (police and fire, city workers) and delivering constituent needs (like trash pick up, street repairs/cleanings, and park maintenance). I will work alongside City departments but also hold them accountable by closely monitoring budget allocations and expenditures. I’ll advocate for responsible spending that directly benefits our community. I’ll also work to ensure that City funds are invested properly and provide transparency and efficiency, while promoting initiatives that enhance the quality of life for ALL residents.

  • Civil Services

Improving the quality of life for Ward 7 residents is a top priority. Discussion is good, but dedication, teamwork, and organized action is what is truly drives change. I understand the complex relationship between poverty and crime, and I’m committed to addressing the root cause of those issues by focusing on equitable solutions. I’ll work to ensure that tax dollars will exclusively benefit the needs of citizens to promote a sustainable, safer, and more equitable environment for all. To keep neighborhoods clean and orderly, I’ll prioritize civil services such as trash pick up, beautification, and street cleaning. I’ll also seek to make the 7th Ward a haven for small business opportunities. I’ll address the growing issue that is vacant properties and blighted buildings in our community from negligent property owners that have faced little accountability for far too long. It’s time to hold them responsible to ensure a safe and habitable environment for our residents.

  • Community & City Development

The 7th Ward is a special place to me. We’ve been lucky enough to see local gems in the heart of Fox Park like Little Fox and Lona‘s Lil Eats emerge as internationally renowned establishments. Their contributions have boosted the neighborhood’s profile and made it an attractive place for local neighbors and people from all over to visit or even potentially start a business of their own. It’s important to ensure that our community remains inclusive and diverse, reflecting the rich background that make up the complexion of OUR 7th Ward. Together as elected leaders with creative integrity and human ingenuity, we can implement initiatives that provide resources for businesses, facilitate meaningful public-private partnerships, and improve our City’s local restaurant scene and economic opportunities. I’m committed to promoting this vibrant community and encouraging small businesses to invest and grow within the 7th Ward with support and approval from neighborhood associations and community improvement groups and strengthening the overall STL region through cooperation between the City and the County.

I love St. Louis. And I love my neighborhood.

I’ve dedicated years to acts of community service, from organizing toy drives for children to delivering food and supplies to those in need. I’ve actively spoken out against gun violence, promoted public safety, and worked to keep our youth away from harm. Through music and art, I strive to spread messages of hope and love. As your Alderman, I will continue these efforts with unwavering commitment while channeling my passion into effectively representing you in City Hall.
